It’s finally time to share some of the work I did for Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream!

Here I'd love to show you a fraction of the in-game assets I modeled for our game. I really got the chance to challenge myself to do not only organic sculpts as I am used to and comfortable with, but a lot of hard surface jobs. It's a big challenge to push assets in a top-down environment to look realistic and at the same time you have to stylize a lot of features to make sure details come across to the viewer and be readable as they can be far too small. An example would be to scale up certain bolts or knobs to make sure they are visible from the distance without the asset looking goofy or cartoonish.
